Protection of the buildings against rising dampness from the ground is of utmost importance as it provides many benefits, comfort and long life being the most important of them. Water logged areas need special attention, while other new construction also requires care in view of changing conditions in future. We follow British code of practice No. CPJ 02: 1973 entitled:
"PROTECTION OF BUILDINGS AGAINST WATER FROM THE GROUND"
Jute based bitumen sheeting to BS6398: 1983 in 2 to 3 layers sandwiched in 3 to 4 coats of foundation Asphalt is specified, besides 3/4" to 1" of thick coats of bitumen to BS1097 and we have carried out such work in various projects including Pakistan Secretariat Buildings, Aiwan-e-Saddar, Telephone Exchange Building and MNA's hostel in Islamabad besides State Bank buildings in Karachi, Lahore Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Our prize job was Pakistan national Shipping Corporation building situated at the time of construction near sea in Karachi, where sea waves were striking against the walls.
Underpasses in Lahore located 10 feet below the canal bed have also been waterproofed by us. // Specification along with list of jobs is enclosed.

WE produce Jute based 3.6Kg/m2 1)amp Proof course in 13" & 9" or other desired // widths to BS6398: 1983, also 2 Kg/m2 Polyester inert and rot proof base to BS747:1986 // type 51 J Curther modified with Aluminuim foil lamination. // 'l'hese clany) courses are easy to lay and can be laid on smooth surfaced foundations by // even a layman. No concrete pad which is not waterproof is needed and a long life // protection equaling life of the building is achieved. Leaflet is enclosed.
